Araya Hargate does #Thailand proud in Cannes

.

Popular British-Thai actress Araya “Chompoo” A Hargate wrapped her chic maternity moments on the red carpet at the 70th Cannes Film Festival with compliments pouring in from fans as well as the world's fashion bibles.

Vogue.com wrote: “With celebrities from all over the world vying for attention, it can be hard to stand out – but there’s no fashion challenge that Araya “Chompoo” Hargate can’t handle.”

RedCarpet-FashionAwards.com added further praise, writing: “Araya’s look was all about bringing drama to the carpet, from the oversized peplum, to the sultry sheer skirt, the opera gloves and Chopard high jewellery collection pieces. This is a worthy look for Cannes..”

The actress was also selected as having one of the best looks at Cannes 2017 by Vanity Fair.

For her final appearance on the red carpet for the screening of “The Meyerowitz Stories” on Sunday night, Araya stunned the crowd by showing off her five-month baby bump in a couture gown created by French atelier, Alexis Mabille complete with a quilted red cape that trailed behind her. The brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris (Thailand) was made up on the theme “Flawless Finale”.

Chopard’s diamonds completed the look and ensured Araya looked every bit the star.
Araya has certainly turned heads at this year’s festival thanks to impeccable styling and close collaboration with fashion magazine, L’Officiel Thailand.

For the premiere of “Ismael’s Ghosts”, Araya wore a white Ralph and Russo dress with a silk cape covered with crystals and ostrich feathers.

For “Loveless”, Araya was attired in a black Olivier Theysken gown that was the perfect complement to the sapphire and diamonds of Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection.

And Araya’s happiness at walking down the staircase with her husband Visrut “Nott” Rangsisingpipat was evident as she brought an added glow to the voluminous gown in fuchsia by Zuhair Murad paired with Chopard’s diamond-drop earrings to the premiere of “120 Beats Per Minute”.

#Thailand - ‘Clear evidence’ against ‘Patt’ as second summons issued.

.

THE NARCOTICS Suppression Bureau (NSB) has issued a second summons for actress Napapa “Patt” Tantrakul to hear charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering.

The actress must turn herself in by Monday or investigators will seek an arrest warrant, a source at the NSB said on Thursday.
Investigators had evidence that the actress possessed money that her husband, motorbike racing star Akarakit “Benz Racing” Worarojcharoendet, received from a network led by alleged Lao drug kingpin Xaysana Keopimpa, the source said.
Akarakit allegedly received money from Natthapol Nakkham, a suspect connected to Xaysana’s alleged network who has already been arrested, and transferred about Bt1.9 million to Napapa.
Although most of the money was sent to the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), the alleged crime had already been committed, prompting investigators to apply for an arrest warrant on Tuesday, the source said. However, a criminal court judge ruled that Napapa had a permanent address and was not a flight risk, so a summons for her to hear the charges was appropriate. The first summons called for her to surrender herself yesterday but she failed to do so, the source said, so investigators secured a second summons that would require her to show up by Monday or an arrest warrant would be issued.

A night at the Thai Oscars

"Dao Khanong" and "Khun Phan" sweep the Subhanahongsa awards

In a first for the Thai film industry, an independent movie directed by a female filmmaker swept three of the national film awards including the coveted best film and best director prizes on Sunday night, proving that small films are able of outdoing big-budget mainstream productions.
.
“Dao Khanong” (“By The Time It Gets Dark”) by Anocha Suvichakorn- pong also took home the best-editing prize at the 26th Subhanahongsa awards held at Bangkok’s KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha theatre. The film triumphed against nominees who included the commercial hit “Fanday … Fan Kun Khae Wan Diaw” (“One Day”) and another indie by a female director, “Mahasamut Lae Susan” (“The Island Funeral”).
.
After giving her acceptance speech, Anocha told the press she hoped her win would inspire young female filmmakers.
.
“We should cross the boundaries of gender. Men, women and the third gender all have a chance to win the award. Don’t let your gender be an obstacle to reaching your dreams,” said the director, who spent seven years working on the project.
.
Speaking with XP at the film’s premiere at the Locarno Film Festival last year, Anocha described the film as being about politics, memories and cinema. The narrative starts with a female film director,
who wants to learn more about the Thai student movement in 1976 so she interviews a well-known female writer who was part of the movement. The film then goes back in time before bringing the audience back to present to meet the other characters and witness their struggles in modern society.
.
The director also thanked her family for giving her the freedom to do what she loves. “I want to dedicate this win to those who fight for the liberty of thought and expression,” Anocha said.
Action drama film “Khun Phan” swept the most awards, picking up best supporting actor for Krisada Sukosol Clapp, best visual effects, best costume design and best makeup effects.

Thai Soap Series

A great example of bad influence for the youth.

When you look the all have the same style / makeup / hairdresser / ......
The name it movie stars, but in reality the are all fake (a few exceptions)
Not one has a Hollywood value.
What is the mean point.
1/ Bad acting
2/ All (must)screaming
3/ All must can (fake) fighting
4/ All must can shooting.
5/ ......and so on.

(The most actress has a fake silicone nose)

Every evening the one after an other.
Disgusting.
